March 5: The Mental Health Association presented its fundraiser A Tropical Night in Martinique at Maison Martinique to benefit the organization’s Mental Health Walk-in Center.

March 26: The Indian River Land Trust celebrated its 20th anniversary with an annual members event at Spoonbill Marsh.

March 18: Women’s Refuge of Vero Beach presented the 12th annual Women’s Luncheon & Physicians Symposium at Quail Valley River Club.

March 10: Over 100 garden enthusiasts came out to McKee Botanical Garden for Garden Club of America Day.

March 11-13: Over 200 top artists and craftsmen from across the country displayed their works at the 60th annual Under the Oaks Fine Arts & Crafts Festival in Riverside Park.

March 12: Young ladies wore their Sunday best to celebrate the Dasie Bridgewater Hope Center’s annual Tea by the Sea event honoring the Girls With A Future program at the Disney Vero Beach Resort.

March 15 & 19: The Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County celebrated its 27th annual Cause for Paws fundraiser beginning with the Preview Party at Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club.

March 21: The Vero Beach Chapter of Ducks Unlimited held its annual banquet at the Vero Beach Country Club.

February 28: The Moorings Club hosted a luncheon featuring ESPN host, America’s Cup defender and President of U.S. Sailing Gary Jobson.

February 28: Five local chefs battled it out to be Vero’s top chef during the Homeless Family Center event Vero’s Top Chef Challenge at Quail Valley River Club.

February 26: The City of Vero Beach celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Royal Palm Pointe with an afternoon full of activities.

February 26: McKee Botanical Garden held its annual fundraiser Celebration of Sanctuary with local chimpanzee sanctuary Save The Chimps.

February 26: The 25th annual United Way Citrus Golf Classic was a sold-out field and a perfect day for golf. The morning began with breakfast, followed by golf, lunch and prizes.

February 25: Golfers enjoyed beautiful weather and a great day of golf at the third annual Senior Legacy Golf Tournament at Bent Pine Golf Club.

February 25: Art in Bloom, a Vero Beach Museum of Art event centered around a vibrant display of selected works from the museum’s permanent collection, featured a tour of the exhibition and floral demonstration, followed by a luncheon and tea room-style fashion show from The Lazy Daisy, J. McLaughlin and Sassy Boutique.

February 24: Dollars for Scholars hosted its 2nd annual Tie-Bration, celebrating “the things that tie us together.”

February 23: Riverside Theatre’s Premiere Benefit featured the Broadway musical comedy hit, The Producers.

February 23: Spring was in the air at McKee Botanical Garden’s Spring Garden Symposium, which featured Gordon Hayward, author of Art and the Gardener, followed by a lunch in the Hall of Giants catered by Elizabeth D. Kennedy & Co. and the dedication of an historic waterfall in memory of late volunteer and advisory board member Patty Morse.
