From December 5, 2009, through January 3, 2010, the public enjoyed the opportunity to view the Indian River Photo Club’s annual print exhibit at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. This year’s photo contest received a record 135 entries, 50 of which were showcased at the museum.
The exhibit included the top photos in each of seven categories: People, Nature-Flora, Nature-Fauna, Still Life, Scapes, Special Technique, and Open. The photographs were judged by professional photographer and photography instructor Louis Ciszek; published photographer and instructor Kim Hunt; and watercolor artist and art history expert Joel Johnson.
The annual photo contest is an opportunity for Photo Club members and non-members, professionals and amateurs alike, to compete in their shared passion: photographic art.
