Dear Journal,
After the chilliest winter in memory, it’s springtime at last, and Florida is beginning to feel like Florida again. Time to put away the sweaters and spend the day at Laura’s house, a real “old Florida” experience. Today we relaxed, made cookies and caught up on our reading. We are both convinced the spirit of Mrs. Jackson still lingers here in her “Homeplace."
