
The United Way of Indian River County will host the annual Jackie Robinson Celebration Game at Holman Stadium in Vero Beach on April 15. The cherished tradition celebrates the legacy of Jackie Robinson, a man who broke barriers in baseball and changed lives in the process.
Held annually on April 15, the day Robinson made his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947, the Celebration Game honors Robinson’s achievements while supporting United Way’s mission. The Clearwater Threshers and the Palm Beach Cardinals will take the field on this celebratory day.
Hosted at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex, the game is a must-attend experience for Treasure Coast baseball fans and United Way supporters alike. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the game starts at 6:42 p.m.
