Stephen Gray knows the words to the Boy Scout pledge by heart. It’s no wonder. After six years in the scouting program he’s said them over and over again and they never fail to guide and inspire him.
Right now the 16-year-old Vero Beach High School student and member of Troop 567 needs all of the guidance and inspiration he can get as he works towards becoming an Eagle Scout. The significance of achieving Scouting’s highest rank is tremendous. In order to be eligible, Gray must earn a total of 21 merit badges and perform a service project of significant value to the community.
