We all think Vero Beach is the center of the Universe and in a way we’re right. While there is plenty to do to keep residents and visitors happy right here, a short drive in any direction expands your possibilities.
Starting at Vero Beach, within a little over an hour, you could be in the midst of several unique entertainment centers. Not the usual, well-worn road to Disney World and Universal Studios – these places are different.
Way Out West
If you go west, as Horace Greeley sagely advised, you’ll come upon River Ranch. A fifty-plus-mile drive out Route 60 brings you to another world altogether. You could also go by plane and land on the private, mile-long airstrip.
