“Most women, from the time they’re 10 years old, have some idea of what they want their wedding to look like,” says Fé Domenech of Florals by Fé. And according to Domenech and the many other wedding gurus we spoke to, Vero Beach lends itself to any fantasy. From indoor to outdoor, from church to residence to private club to hotel, from buffet to banquet to cocktails, the choices are endless.

So where does a bride begin? “Start with what you like,” says Elizabeth Kennedy of Elizabeth D. Kennedy & Company Inc. While many brides come to Kennedy for her 29 years of catering experience, she often functions as a wedding planner for smaller weddings, offering referrals to venues, photographers, musicians and florists – even making those calls herself at the request of the bride. Kennedy is frequently on site at receptions, overseeing her beautifully plated dinners or creative buffets.
