 Before he starts to write a new novel, Harlan Coben asks the question, “What if?” – and usually more than once.

He muses about the answers until they form the beginnings of a plot. His characters step in at around this point to take their starring roles. He leads them on a circuitous route, and while he knows where he’s going, his readers seldom do. And he likes it that way.

His fans admit that getting there – with all the twists, fast-paced suspense, and crafty hints and dodges – is what makes a Harlan Coben thriller such great fun to read. And he’s done it again. This time with Caught, just in time for summer reading.
