Ah, the romance of boating. Gliding through the sparkling waters of the open sea or the Intra-coastal Waterway, or winding through Florida’s picturesque salt marshes is an experience like none other.  Recreational boat owners know the joys of an early morning race to a favorite fishing hole, or tying up in a quiet cove to enjoy an onboard picnic, or anchoring for the night to be lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of the waves beneath the hull. A number of Vero Beach boaters have enhanced their enjoyment of boating even further by joining the Grady Bunch – a unique combination of camaraderie on the water, travel club, boating school for the novice boater, and all around fun that is so infectious that landlubbers who hear about it are tempted to buy their first boat just so they can belong.

At the helm of the Grady Bunch is Bruce MacIntyre, whose love of boating and marketing savvy have created the first, largest and most active boating club of its kind. Bruce is one of the owners of Vero Marine Center, which is the exclusive dealer for Grady-White boats in the area. A prerequisite of membership in the Grady Bunch is to own a Grady-White from Vero Marine Center.
