Popular Broadway shows like The Producers regulary pack the house.

 “Some Enchanted Evening”… if the mere mention of that classic hit from South Pacific has you humming along you’re not alone, since that’s just what people have been doing ever since the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical opened on Broadway in 1949. So keep those vocal chords warmed for next month when the score and story will come alive on Riverside Theatre’s Stark Stage, with Nellie Forbush once again washing that man right outta her hair. There won’t be an empty seat in the house.

Vero Beach is a town that loves its theatre. Ever since stage lights first shone on the Theatre Guild’s production of Tom Jones on Nov. 7, 1973, the community has enthusiastically embraced local theatrical efforts – so much so that today the Riverside Theatre, affiliated with the Actor’s Equity Association, the League of Resident Theatres, the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society and United Scenic Artists, is widely recognized as a cultural treasure throughout the state.
