Alma Lee now lives in Central Vero Beach.
“I’ve always had a favorite saying. And that is that I have always been in the right place at the right time,” she says with the soft southern inflection that makes her voice distinctive.
Alma Lee Loy admits she hasn’t had an opportunity to travel much, but that’s all right. For her the right place is and always has been Vero Beach. Timing has been good for her, too. She is satisfied that she has always been able to “find the time to help anybody and everybody.”
To list the anybodies and everybodies Alma Lee has helped, guided, mentored, befriended and given a boost in the right direction would take volumes. She says she was well taught right at home by parents who thought that serving the community was an essential part of their lifestyle.
