Whiteflies on citrus leaves.

It’s not a pleasant subject but hey, somebody has to do the dirty work. Pests. Bugs. Insects. Critters. No matter what you call them, it doesn’t sound good. Just grit your teeth and prepare to face them.

The best way to eliminate these scoundrels, in general, is to catch them early.  Being a scout is a way to do this.  At periodic intervals, take a stroll through the garden and give it a once over. If you do this once or twice a week and an area of concern is noticed, you are already on your way to winning the bug battle.
