Ritacco and Chan Architecture is an interdisciplinary design-build studio that integrates architecture, the visual arts, and innovative technologies.
George Ritacco and Yook Chan are co-founders of R + C Architecture. They were graduates of the New York Institute of Technology and the Cooper Union respectively. After two decades of design and construction in New York, they returned to Vero Beach to establish their practice in 2022. From custom modern residences to public and cultural works, each project brings art, architecture, and construction full circle.
A current project at Jones’ Pier Conservation Area, along Vero Beach’s historic Jungle Trail, embodies their design-build philosophy. The personal exhibit honors the Jones family, where history, multimedia storytelling, and the natural beauty of the Indian River Lagoon comes together in a single experience. R + C Architecture is the design builder and curator of the exhibition space.
R + C Architecture is dedicated to the community. They are working with nonprofit and public organizations to design affordable housing prototypes and master planning for new schools. They contribute their expertise and ideas for project planning and programming.
