March 12: The Vero Beach branch of the American Association of University Women hosted its fundraiser at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, which featured guest speaker Dr. Margaret Leinen and tours of the Marine Mammal Rescue Stranding Facility and Aquaculture Center.
Proceeds from the event will help fund a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math summit for seventh and eighth grade girls in March 2012.
