November 18: The Indian River chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals held its fifth annual National Philanthropy Day Awards at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. Guests celebrated with an awards ceremony followed by a cocktail reception. Awards recipients were Outstanding Individual Philanthropist – Barbara Hurley, Outstanding Corporate Philanthropist – PNC Wealth Management, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser – Michael E. Schwartz, and Unsung Hero – Todd Heckman.
