March 21: The Vero Beach Chapter of Ducks Unlimited held its annual banquet at the Vero Beach Country Club. The evening featured a “hunt feast,” a raffle and silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the event will help the organization continue its mission to preserve and protect wetlands in the area.
The chapter was also one of 43 chapters recently named President’s Elite for raising $100,000 or more annually for Ducks Unlimited.
