December 11: A Brazilian-style carnival was the theme of the Hibiscus Children’s Center’s annual winter gala, An Affair, Rio Style at the Moorings Club. The black-tie evening featured silent and live auctions, cocktails, a seated dinner and exciting live entertainment by Private Stock Productions. Proceeds from the event will benefit the center’s programs and services for abused and neglected children in Indian River County.
