February 26: McKee Botanical Garden held its annual fundraiser Celebration of Sanctuary with local chimpanzee sanctuary Save The Chimps. The evening recognized the missions of both organizations and featured appearances by NASA astronauts, a special message from chimpanzee scientist Jane Goodall, as well as cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Elizabeth D. Kennedy & Co.
