February 5: The American Red Cross North Treasure Coast Chapter held An Affair to Remember — In the Mood at the Copacabana at the Vero Beach Country Club. The 1940’s nightclub scene featured appetizers, dinner and a dessert bar, a WWII variety show and dancing. Event proceeds benefit the organization’s services to the armed forces, disaster services, and health and safety services in the community.
