November 3: More than 30 businesses and places of worship opened their doors to serve soup donated by over 80 local restaurants for the 19th annual Samaritan Center Soup Bowl.
Volunteer potters created wheel-thrown stoneware bowls and soup tureens that were available for purchase. The event raised $31,000 for the organization’s programs and services for homeless families in Indian River County.
