November 24: Close to 1,000 people started their Thanksgiving morning running or walking in the Harvest Food & Outreach Center’s fourth annual Trot Against Hunger at Riverside Park. The event began with a 1-mile kids run and 5K race followed by a sweet potato pancake breakfast. $20,000 was raised to help bring awareness to families who are hungry and in financial crisis
