By the time our snowbirds return this fall, construction will be complete on Ocean Drive’s largest, luxury commercial edifice. Is it a sign of things to come? You bet. The new building, called Park Place due to its proximity to Humiston Park, will house PNC Bank on the entire third floor. The second floor will be professional office space. Finally, the ground floor will provide the new, expanded home for Tango’s restuarant, as well as a high-end women’s dress shop, a jeweler, a real estate office, a PNC Bank annex, an upscale sandal shop and a beauty salon. What will be next in Vero Beach’s future now that the bar has been raised? Stay tuned.
