September 3: The Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club, along with the PGA of America and United States Golf Association, hosted Patriot Golf Day to raise funds for the Folds of Honor Foundation. The foundation provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military servicemen and women killed or disabled. The festivities included a Marine Color Guard, displays of military vehicles, a continental breakfast, golf, lunch and awards.
