Pointe West offers a variety of housing amenities in keeping with its “traditional neighborhood” design. Porches are perfect for relaxing, tree-lined sidewalks beckon strollers, and bikers can pedal forever on trails that wind through the community.
They say that all good things come to those who wait. For members of The Club at Pointe West, that wait was over when the doors to their full-service clubhouse opened early last summer. There are many adjectives that could be used to adequately describe the architecture, interior design and special amenities that make this clubhouse a standout, but they can most easily be summed up in the word that many people say the first time they see it: “Wow!”
The décor at “The Club” is warm and welcoming; there’s an air of nostalgic elegance that is relaxed yet refined, and the food is first-class. Everything about the 14,000-square-foot building that crowns the 18-hole championship golf course, from the gallery to the indoor and outdoor dining areas, from the pro shop to the locker suites, has exceeded everyone’s expectations.
Everyone, that is, except Chuck Mechling. For him, The Club is just as he envisioned it would be when, seven years ago, he and a handful of others began developing the Pointe West community.
