Ocean Drive’s luxury home furnishings shop, Veranda, has recently been transformed to accommodate expanded lines of exclusive designer jewelry, glassware and other fine products. Veranda features the work of several prominent jewelry designers, including Elizabeth Locke, Roberto Coin, David Yurman, Maija Neimanis, Marco Bicego, Temple St. Clair, Hermès, Michele Watches and the latest addition, Ippolita. The store also carries premier home decor lines, such as Simon Pearce glassware, Mary Jurek Design, Match and Vagabond.
“My vision is to make Veranda the source for fine diamond jewelry, from engagement rings to diamond studs to ‘anything’ diamond,” says Cathy Padgett – art collector, designer and the store’s owner. Prior to founding Veranda in 1992 (on the site now occupied by J. McLaughlin), Cathy started and sold two clothing boutiques, The Gazebo and Etcetera, also on Ocean Drive.
Veranda is located at 3325 Ocean Drive. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 234-3404.
