Elizabeth D. Kennedy & Co. have taken over the reins as operators of the on-site Garden Café at McKee Botanical Garden.

The café offers upscale brunch, salad, lunch and dessert options including fresh herb and gruyere egg strata, tuna Niçoise salad, and French toast casserole with praline topping. A children’s menu is also available and features free-range chicken and organic applesauce, as well as other kid-friendly favorites. Ned Nichols, past owner of The Red Onion Eatery on Ocean Drive, is the head chef.

The Garden Café is available to rent for dinner parties that include 10 to 500 guests, and Elizabeth Kennedy also provides catering for all on-site weddings.

The Garden Café at McKee Botanical Garden is open Tuesday through Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Garden is located at 350 U.S. Highway 1. 794-0601.
