More Pooches At Pawprints

Pawprints of Vero Beach on 12th Street has expanded to make more room for its furry friends, both large and small.

Owners Kim Conti and Sean Verne opened the dog day-care facility four years ago and recently added 1,200-square-feet of indoor air-conditioned space specifically designed for small dog visitors. There is also 2,000-square-feet of air-conditioned indoor space for large dogs, while the outdoor courtyards have been enlarged to include 35,000-square-feet of fenced outdoor play area and an inground swimming pool. The facility specializes in grooming and training and has just added boarding, with a person on staff who stays with the dogs through the night.

Pawprints is a member of the Petcare Services Association and Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Pawprints of Vero Beach is located at 7900 12th St. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offer boarding drop-off and pick-up Sunday 10 a.m to 3 p.m. 567-2121. www.pawprintsverobeach.com.
