Owners Kent and Liz Smith of Stickhead Lacrosse
Liz and Kent Smith are capitalizing on the skyrocketing popularity of lacrosse on the Treasure Coast by expanding their Vero Beach store. Stickhead Lacrosse is a full-service lacrosse specialty store now located near the intersection of 19th Street and 14th Avenue. The new location offers three times the retail space as the former store, which opened in 2008. Kent Smith, co-owner and member of the Florida Lacrosse Hall of Fame, emphasizes the importance of the specialized fitting expertise offered at Stickhead. Staff members guide customers through the sizing process to obtain the custom fit required for safety and comfort.
In addition to providing uniforms and equipment to local players, Stickhead Lacrosse outfits teams from across the state and around the world, including the Austrian and Irish World Teams.
Lacrosse gear is available in the store for every level of player, from the beginner to the most advanced. Product lines include STX, Brine, Gait, Shock Doctor, Easton, Bamshaft, Under Armor, Warrior and Mueller.
