SunUp Merges With Abilities Resource Center

SunUp ARC is the result of a recent merger of two local nonprofit organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Indian River County: the Abilities Resource Center and the Sun Up Center. With more than 57 years of combined experience, SunUp ARC blends the unique missions of both organizations into a new mission, offering more choices and opportunities for the developmentally disabled.

SunUp ARC provides a wide array of services including adult day training, behavioral services, early intervention for children ages newborn through 6 years, life skills training, residential group homes, supported living, supported employment and transportation services that include a fleet of 18 vehicles.
The Treasure Coast Community Care program at SunUp ARC offers supports in a person’s home environment ranging from personal care skills assistance to respite for primary caregivers.

SunUp ARC has three campuses in Vero Beach and Sebastian. The main location is 1375 16th Ave. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (772) 562-6854. www.arcir.org.
